When i was a college student, i had a room mate that used to intern for a small internet start up company. I forget what the name of the company was but i remember what they did. They had developed a software program that allowed users to access their home computer for any computer connected to the internet. The idea of remote access to your home or work computer was really exciting for me. I remember thinking that i should learn about all of these new technologies. The beautiful thing about the internet is that it makes all of your daily routines easy to do. We are working hard on trying to figure out what to do with this blog. The domain name is something random. It has two xs and two ls. It’s got a j and a y. What am i supposed to do this domain name. At least it’s a dot com domain name. Because this domain is hard to type, i will have to count on a lot of search engine and referral traffic. I doubt that direct traffic will stick with this blog. It doesn’t matter. I have confidence that i can turn this random domain name into a money maker.

I always wanted to start my own web company. I would read business magazines and get jealous of these young internet millionaires. The ideas weren’t that great, but they were making millions. I figured that i could apply my creative brain to the web. I would finish reading those internet articles and come out determined. I would be inspired to start my own internet company.

Then, i would get home, watch some sports center and get sleepy. I would forget the burst of inspiration that i felt a few hours prior.

I said enough is enough. I got myself some domains and some hosting. I now have my own website. I have my own web company. Actually, this is just a blog, but i have to take baby steps. I don’t want to invest a lot of money into this before i get familiar. I think this is pretty cool. I just need to figure out how everything works on the net. I consider myself to be pretty web savvy. But when it comes to the being a webmaster, i’m new to this. I’m a newb. I’m a noob!
